Title: 1/35 Panzer IV and variants
Post by: zak on November 22, 2020, 11:49:00 AM
Time for something a bit bigger, this is the Ausf D from Tamiya.
Again in Afrika Korps livery.
I will need some different figures though.

Hello Zak,
That looks like an old kit. Nice simple build.
Andy.

Next is another IV, but on opening the box I am daunted by the sheer number of parts, this looks totally over the top.
The Tamiya kit was pretty nice, it will be interesting to compare the two.
I don't think any B's made it to North Africa and so it will have to be a different paint job.

It has slowed me down, so many bits to clean up and attach, mind you there will be a lot of spare parts as well.

Great modelling Zak.

Yes, this variant did not get to the desert, or it seems be very effective.

My eldest son sent me a WhatsApp with a photo of one of these saying he's just had a friend delete and block him on FaceBook. The guys French and they were talking about who won the first 'Tour de France'? Apparently the answer isn't the 5th Panzer Division!!
