Just about to begin this one. I've probably had it a few years. The mouldings are crisp and clean (definitely first run ) so this should be a straight forward build.
-
Futuristic looking beast.
Haddock.
-
Interesting helicopter.
-
An interesting subject Chris.
Ah, so Grasshopper.

Looks similar a western one, just can’t think of the name right now.

Erm......
You are seriously teasing us.
Bigkev

Those were the closest Kevin.
-
Are you going to build the other attack helicopters to show the comparison?

I don't have a Rooivalk yet but I do have the others.
After a bit of searching I've found a source for the Rooivalk. The bank balance will take a hit.

Is this a real helicopter?? Looks like a Comanche to me.
Andy.
-
Yes it is real and it does look like a Comanche ( which was scrapped in 2004 ).

Having Googled them I see you're going to end up with four 'same but different'!!!

All variations on a theme.

Cockpit done. The instructions did say paint it all black. I decideed to paint the seats a different colour.
Cockpit, gun, rotor assembly in one half of the fuselage.
-
I think you have done the right thing in having more than one colour.
-
I agree with Zak even if something is just one colour - with different wear patterns, light effects and different materials used you always get different shades of the main colour.

This is the first Hobby Boss model I have made. It went togther like a dream so far. Virtually no flash and excellent mouldings and the fitting was perfect.

All their tank kits are really good too, maybe rather too many parts.
-
I have made a couple of Hobby Boss and found them great models.
-
I like their 'simple' aircraft kits. Enough to work with without being too complicated, then it's up to you what you do with them.

Their ships are very good.
Haddock.

Hi all,
Hobbyboss kits give good value for money.
Not always 100%, but make modelling interesting.
Bigkev
-
Almost done. Just the weapons and aerial to add.
-
Hannants have the Anigrand WZ-10 resin kit down in price from £77.99 to £39.99. Bet you're glad you bought the HobbyBoss one, lol!!!
-
I like the look of this helicopter. ;D
Andy.

Awaiting with anticipation.

Here it is complete. It took a bit longer than anticipated for the final touches.
Finished with Mr Hobby paints. It was a nice kit to build - I don't think I used the filler at all.
-
GREAT Chris
