Title: Thinning Halfords Appliance White after decanting
Post by: Bigkev on August 09, 2020, 06:55:57 PM
Hi Guys,
Can anybody direct me how to 'thin' decanted Halfords Appliance White so it can be sprayed by an airbrush?
Somewhere at the back of my mind, somebody had done it, but I can't remember who it was.
Thanks,
Bigkev

Hi Kevin, I think Tony Ward used to do this by using a bent straw to spray the Halfords product into a jar, he then presumably just sprayed with this, not sure of the make up of paints nowadays.

Hi Zak,
Yes, thanks for that. It was not how to decant, rather the correct thinner /solvent to use.
Cheers

Should it need thinning if it comes out of a rattle can?
Haddock.
