Title: A tall tail?
Post by: Pen-Pusher on September 15, 2015, 12:20:43 PM
As it's raining and really quite miserable outside, I thought I'd submit this short but poignant tale to cheer us all up! (or not as the case may be!)

A dedicated modeller recently married this stunning blonde who, fitting the stereotypical blonde image, wasn't too bright. Nevertheless, she was determined to share her new partner's love of making things. A few days later, her husband received a distraught call from his new wife who sobbed 'I've bought this model of a tiger but I just can't see how it goes together?'
'Are there no instructions?' he asked anxious to alleviate her distress.
'No, nothing, it's hopeless!'
'Never mind, I'll pop home at lunch time and see what's what,' he reassured her and true enough, around midday he arrived home and surveyed the scene before him. 'Look,' he said gently, 'this will never build up into a tiger so why don't you put the kettle on and we'll have a nice cup of tea?' 'Meanwhile, I'll put all these frosted flakes back in the box....!'
