Title: Nostalgia time. Who remembers these?
Post by: Pen-Pusher on August 27, 2015, 05:56:24 PM
I collected a couple of these 'vintage' kits during my time in the US. Recently found their website and wow - nostalgia kicks in. Now, come on admit it.... you've got some in your stash - yes?

I think one of the very first models I built was one of those Aurora kits of monsters with optional glow in the dark parts.  I had several but The Witch was what started it.  After that, I remember King Kong, The Forgotten Prisoner and Frankenstein.  I may have to see if they can still be found.  They were great fun, I recall.

Aurora did a version of the F4. I GAVE mine away! Aaaaaagh! didn't realise it was the only one produced of the prototype F4H-1 with flat canopy and faired intakes.... (Sorry, can't show photo as upload is FULL!)
