Title: Sword and Lance 2015
Post by: zak on April 12, 2015, 09:02:09 AM
A small and friendly show. Kevin, Adrian, Cyril, Francis, Tony W, Tony B and Dave S attended, Jon Hill visited.
Kevin won a Gold award, Dave S a Silver award and Tony B a Bronze award.
We all had a pleasant day and managed to grab two extra tables for display.

Yes, a good day out. Followed by a nice meal at the pub afterwards.

Great company to be with. We had a very good standard of models on display, varied and interesting. Success in the competition was good for all who took time to enter, though the prize giving ceremony a bit long winded.

What's more didn't buy a single kit!
Cheers,
Bigkev

What! No models bought, you are obviously a man with an iron will.

No.
No Iron will........................................., just a loft(stash) to build.
Got some good inspiration at Darlington though.

also I took some pictures of some of 'Our' models and some that caught my eye.

Well done Kevin, there was not much WW1 to inspire me on the club stands.

I think that we WW1 freaks and lovers of steam are becoming dinosaurs ;)

Nice looking show.  Pity I was working that day as since Huddersfield, I have a taste for shows.  Well done to the prize winners.  Have we come away with any further inspiration for improving our own club display tables?
