After a quick glance through the latest IPMS magazine it looks like a take over by our club.
Article on our show from Kevin.
John Cook and his Wright Cyclone Engine.
Mr Robinson and Mr Newton on Spitfires.
What more can one say.
Well done you lot.
Oh, just noticed Adrian in there as well.
This must be some sort of record?
Today ze IPMS magazine, tommorow ze vorld!
Hi Zak,
Yes, it must be some sort of record, all I can say its about the quality of the club and its members and their skills that makes it all possible. By the way autographs are available if requested.............................., for a price

Yes, it just shows that the club maybe moving in the right direction, either that or we know the right people.
Hi Zak,
It is probably both those things combined to some extent. But it is fair to say, that the quality of the work/articles together with the good relationships we have developed both internally within the club and externally with other clubs and associates probably is the underlying reason.
As we know from our own newsletter, the willingness to submit articles from the members is key to producing any publication.

Very true.
I agree and I put out a call to all members to put pen to paper, write a little article about anything really and get it off to Dave M. He is happy to receive any submissions for the newsletter. We all have opinions, interests and experiences, lets share them with each other. The club is only as good as its members, and as we see, we have some very competent and experienced members but lets not leave it all to the same people month after month........QED.
Correct.
Hi Guys,
Just to let you know we have 'appeared' in Scale Aircraft Modelling International' again this month. Ron's P.1 Lightning and my Airbus A319 were photographed at the Huddersfield Show and were in the report.
It's a bit of a double edged sword for me, a mix of 'pride' and 'embarrassment', I am pleased to see my model there in print, but there were many equally other deserving models by club members in the competition and on the club table.
Still, it is nice to see.

Well done that man.
Flying the flag for the club. (pun intended)
