Hello all.
The Cass Hall has a booking until 7PM on Wednesday.
Please give me until 7.15 to do the change over.
Thanks.
Andy.
What time are we supposed to have the hall from?
Hi All,
Officially we have the hall from 7.30pm until 10.00pm.
So it should not be a problem, or interfere with our proceedings.
Bigkev
Well the meetings always start at 2000 so I always say 1930 for 2000, to give folks a chance to get in, set their models up, get a brew etc to it should work out nicely.
Cheers Andy
Thanks lads.
I didn't want people turning up early and being worried that the place was still occupied.
Note to self, don't forget your £2 entry fee.
Another note to self, don't buy any chips in Driffield at £1.70 a bag!
Note to Wizzel - remember all the printed bits you need to bring!
Oh go on have a bag of chips.
Printed stuff present and correct.
I may go to Driffield via Hornsea and have FISH and chips at Whiteheads. Used to be my monthly treat when we were at Brid so now it's a toss up whether I take the more direct A164 to Driffield and miss my dinner of go via the longer Hornsea route and enjoy a most satisfying repast. Now, what did I do with that 2 headed coin???
Don`t be too extravagant, it could turn out to be an expensive night. ;) I wish that I could join you for fish and chips.....there are a few things that I really miss over here and that is one of them!

Snickers to you.
I had a Finger of Fudge...
8)
Here we go again.
Was it good enough?
I don't know, but it was 'a treat' to see some of you
Bigkev
A Fudge bar was the very first thing I bought with my very own money that I got in a birthday card. 3p from Stablers on Grovehill Road in Beverley.
Sad, sad, very sad.
Hi Wizzel,
Blimey, can you remember THAT far back!!
Bigkev
Neither can I but I know that it wasn`t 3p, more like 3d in those days.
Now we are talking - real money.
I new this new fangled stuff wouldn't catch on.
I had a very happy childhood and little things like that meant a lot. Maybe we should start a new thread - Fond Memories of Yesteryear and try to out do each other?
What with you Wizzel, Zak, Kev, Tony and I, we`ve got the requisites for the 4 Yorkshiremen (and a Lancastrian) sketch from Monty Python.....luxury!
Well, I could start collecting shovel handles if you like and maybe even the odd rain gauge.
