Title: USS Intrepid Museum New York
Post by: Admin on June 13, 2014, 04:52:58 PM
In case any of you may have been wondering what I have been up to lately as I don't get to many of the club meetings (sadly), I thought I would post a few pictures from a recent trip to New York.

I am always on the look out for museums and places to visit related to my modelling interests, especially submarines!!  So when I knew I was going to New York I did a quick search and found that the USS Intrepid museum compl;eye with the USS Growler submarine was going to be a must see.

Well its back to work for me but I do hope to see you all in the future.

Good to hear from you Mike.
I visited the Intrepid in 2001. Man its big. You can still see where the Kamikaze bent the flight deck from underneath.
Cool pics.
Andy.
