Title: The flither
Post by: Haddock on May 07, 2014, 09:59:49 AM
Well, nobody has risen to the bait ( no pun intended ), now I can see why. I've just googled " flither"and it looks as though I am being disrespectful to a group of people who are sadly no longer with us, and I might add, had a work ethic that would put us all to shame. This certainly isn't the case.
Flithers were collected by the activity known as Flithering probably by people known as Flitherers, however, a Flither IS A LIMPET!
Whilst engaged in the activity of flithering the flitherers would also collect razor-fish, known as " war-fish " ( pronounced "wagh").And another popular bait was what looks to you and me like a blob of red jelly stuck to the rock at low water. these are in fact sea anemones. these were known as " 'orses arse'oles ".
Just thought I needed to put the record straight.

I love this club.
I learn so many things that are not model related.
How did I survive so long beforehand.................................1
