Title: Detailling
Post by: bridlufc on November 13, 2013, 11:23:36 PM
A couple of aircraft I am attempting to build have riveting along the panel lines and I was looking to buy a riveting tool even though I have the Trumpeter set of riveting wheels but the process seems rather daunting to me. I had a look for something easier and I found HGW Models do rivet transfers in various scales plus they do remove before flight tags  in various scales as well if you don't do your own.

Hi Bridlufc,

Yes, I've seen them in magazines and I think Roger bought some at Telford, perhaps you might want to see how he has got on with them.

Hi Kev, hope you haven't taken offence over the 'Wheres Wally' jibe. I think there is a tutorial on youtube showing how to apply them as they are not applied like the standard transfers, I know I have seen some instructions somewhere.

Regards Tony.

No offence taken old mate, its nice to know that you have missed me, in a strange sort of way.
Hope to be a more regular contributor now, (PS. Still awaiting that phone call from BT!!)
Glad to be back, and missed.
