Getting this sorted for playday on Sunday. Next job make the base for this to sit in and the section to contain the water.
The model will have the 3 figures walking along the dock and a surprise round he corner :P :P :P
A ZOMBIE no doubt!!!!!!
Might be ;) ;) ;)
A zombie me thinks also.
I think it might be a figure based on Neil, and dressed as a Super Hero....

Or Neil as himself - even scarier!!
If I did it as Neil as himself then I would have to put a warning sign on the model so as not to frighten people ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Back to the model, frame made and painted black, a coat of plaster on the dock and the inner frame made for the building. Now ready to mess about with it all on playday, as well as putting the world to rights and chat chat chat chat :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X
Work done on the building during playday33
Looks good Martin, what did you use for the corrugated sheeting? I was thinking of doing something that would need corrugated walls.
The corrugated walls are just food container put through a paper crinkler (think they use them on making greetings cards - found this in a craft shop, will bring it on club night for demo)
Building primed and coat of rust on the metal walls and beams.
Thanks for the information Martin.
I would be interested in seeing the 'crinkler' at the next meeting.
Looking good Martin.
Was that post apologetic?
Could be apoplectic!!
A pair of clowns with dictionaries yoho yoho
A coat of hair spray and then a top coat of blue on the metal - will remove most of this when it is dry
Actually, one was Grammar School educated, tho tha wunt believe it, lol!!!
Not shure sure ssur if either was educated yoho yoho yoho
Lots of the blue paint removed and some grime added to the concrete blocks
Some very fine sand and green tea leaves added to the angle bar on the edge of the dock and the area below the water line. now to let it dry and then add some colour (yes Chris I mean rust)
Great weathering on the blocks.
Coat of flory wash on the dock, can you sort out the 2 sections that have had some removed ???
Looking very nice Martin. The detail is great.
Front section of the dock now had some oil wash.
A man of very many talents, including drinking Rum!
Looks great, nice work
I know what I am best at -- yoho yoho yoho
Blocks made to add to the dock side and rusted.
Also some rubbish (just for you Chris) added to the bottom of the dock.
Excellent Rubbish.........
Looks like he's found his niche in life, lol!!!
Your knife/saw handle looks like one I've got. How do you stop the blade from popping out if you make sawing cuts?
Nice detail and great rusting/weathering.

First layer of polluted water added - 2 more to go but 24 hours between layers - BUT I want to pour it in now :P :P :P :P :P

Excellent Martin. Great rubbish.
More work done on the building and another coat of polluted water added to the dock.

Please meet Barney - he is what is round the corner of the building ;D ;D ;D
A really good likeness! Haha :) :)
I will tell Barney what you have said yoho yoho yoho but it does look like him doesn't it :-X :-X :-X
Tell Barney it is the new 'cool' look of all newly returned former modellers.
I looked like that once, but my hair follicles decided it wasn't for them. Haha.
So he could be "Klubbing Kev" - seen at all the best night clubs and round a corner if you are unlucky yoho yoho yoho
Now that doesn't bear thinking about!!!
Some work done on Barney
More work done on the main figure - hes now not armless but still doesn't have his gun
Looking good Martin.
