Title: Using AI to generate pictures of your models.
Post by: Bigkev on April 09, 2026, 08:18:11 PM
Hi All,
Just like to share with you a picture of my 1/48th Scottish Aviation Bulldog that I have used as an experiment with Google Gemini to create from a basic picture of my model I made a year or two back.

I include the original picture and the one I asked it to create for comparison. I hope you like it.

I know that the perspective of the vehicles isn't quite right, but I think I can  get it to refine it with a bit of additional info.

I think it maybe. Just wanted to try it out to see the result.

Looks great BUT some people will use it (as they do in magazines to remove blemishes and slim people down) to improve the model not just put it in context.
You could also add a Zombie to all your models yoho yoho yoho without having to make one  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D
I am glad I am a ludite and just enjoy the actual process of making the model and not bothered about anything else  :P  :P  :P  :P
What do others think about the use of AI --- think I will go and watch the Terminator films again   8)  8)  8)  8)

There's several films and books about what can happen eventually with AI and which turned out for the worst and doesn't include the possibility of zombies!!!
I'm still waiting for the pill to wake me up from the Matrix (Wake Up by Rage Against the Machine one of my favourite tracks).
