Title: The Bank Job
Post by: MSea on March 09, 2026, 06:13:50 PM
Sorting out for what to do next playday - got the set of gangsters at Monk Bar Models and now deciding on how the bank will look.
Decided not to do it straight onto the base, it looks very set and normal. So have swung the bank round so its at an angle to the base taking up the back right hand corner, giving more room on the right hand side, if I decide to add more people.
Looking at the boss of the gangsters - now who does he remind you of - look at that smirk and the beady eyes - answer on a postcard yoho yoho yoho

Is it going to be 'The Bank of Zombie' withdrawing some gruesome valuables?

Is this going to be two builds without a zombie? You'll get withdrawal symptoms!!!

Another unusual model from the head of Martin. It's bound to be different.

Nothing unusual Chris - just 4 gangsters stealing money from a bank - sounds like any other committee meeting yoho yoho yoho ( now we will have somepeople asking what happens at committee meetings and need a full run down on our costs - its ZERO for the club before anybody asks)

Base and pavement (sideward for our American friends) made just need a coat of plaster.
The 3 walls have also been made but lots of messing about to get them straight and a good join at the corners, then just window frames, doors, door frame, back wall, roof and embelishments - finished by 1400 hours if I was Zak  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'(

There's a Bonnie and Clyde Bank Robber set now available. So possible 'Season 2'?

It could be starting point for a whole series of 'gangster' inspired dioramas.
