Started this at the last playday.
This will be a conversion from the boxed HC3 with a bunch of minor modifications and Navy titles.
Looking nice so far.
Will be nice to see what you do with this Chris, looks good so far.
Progress. Fuselage just about complete; just the aerials and other bits an bobs to go on.
At least most of the parts for the HC4 conversion are in the kit: hinge for folding tail, the bigger window for the door (the hole had to be enlarged). The nose was modified to remove the FLIR. There are some different aerials and things.
Will it have an overall grey colour scheme?

Yes it will with Navy titles.
Primed and ready for top coats.
An imposing beast in grey undercoat nevertheless.
I like it.
Two coats of medium sea grey on. A coat of polish to go before the decals.
At last finished. In building the HC4 I have realised my HC3 is slightly incorrect. The kit instructions need to be modified as the extra part needed is included (the larger door window). I'll have to go back and see if I can do anything with the already built HC3.
Looks good.
Knowing too much is sometimes a curse!
A super finish Chris, well done.
Your attention to detail is great.
Well done Chris another great model
What a great model, well done.
Thanks for the comments chaps.
Very nice looking helicopter.

As a footnote I managed to prise off the door of the HC3 without damage. I was then able to change the small window (in the instructions) to the correct larger one.
I expect you need a PRISE for doing that withat any other damage being caused ::) ::) ::) ::)

There is always a wag about with a witty comment.

Good work on spotting and correcting the error.
Lots of work for him on my builds then!!
