Title: Sea Ork
Post by: MSea on October 31, 2025, 03:07:03 PM
Have been trying to sort out something to do on the next playday.
Most of the things I am doing at the moment are painting and this is not good to do on playdays.
Just read an article in the magazine about how Orks dont look after any machinery, so have been in the loft and found this one for them to mess up..Just let Neil try and say I have the wrong colour on this one yoho yoho yoho and also lots of rust to keep Chris happy.
So you can blame David Grummitt and Fantasy Figures International magazine for this one  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)

Just had a trip to Mighty Lancer and got some orks, the one with the bow will be converted and turned into Pilot Officer Robinson hohohoho just look at the face , it could not be anybody else  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D Might even rename his plane an "Orkfire" because he loves them so much  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)
Also could not resist the trafic lights, every aircraft carrier needs these to tell the pilot when to go
Title: Re: Sea Ork
Post by: MSea on November 04, 2025, 02:23:49 PM
A little bit of work to convert 2 of the combined trafficlights and walk signs, to walk signs only. Before anybody says its bent, its supposed to be like that, wait till you see what I am going to do to the aircraft  :P  :P  :P  :P

Because the hydraulics are bust and not working, the undercarriage has some extra support. Don't think it will add to the speed because of the drag  BUT its my plane so will do as I want yoho yoho yoho yoho  :P  :P  :P  :P
Title: Re: Sea Ork

Blast deflector made and fitted - again because the hydraulics have bust, replaced with chunks of wood.  Will add some broken hydraulics later.
Behind the deflector looks nice and warm, so will make a bed for one of the orks and maybe a kettle and other bits and bobs  :P  :P  :P  :P  one job leads to another

First of many many many hours spent on adding rust, yes I am asking myself why did I put so many rivets/bolts and bits of metal on the deck.
JUst think a flat deck and one coat of spray colour and it would be done and finished  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'(
