Hi All,
Just a quick resume of the Keighley Model Show that Bridlington and Wolds attended today. 4 members attended, Bob C, Chris W, Dame M, and myself. We were positioned in a hall off the entrance lobby which was well lit and plenty of space to move around.
We had a good selection of models on display and there was plenty of interest and chance to talk to fellow exhibitors and visitors.
Francis was there in attendance with the New Zealand/ York Modelling Society groups, and Barney called in too.
The show started off well, but it seemed to be a little quiet, and by 3'o'clock were allowed to pack up and make our way home.
A few purchases were made, I won a kit on the tombola, Dave won a book on there too, but overall it was a nice friendly day out, with some good chat and banter. In addition we were approached by two chaps from Scarborough, and two from Bilton who seemed interested and joining us, Chris did a sterling job in giving all the details.

A great day, forgot what an early start was like.
Kevin forgot to say he got a First and Second in the competition.

Looks a good display but I didn't know we had a Dame in our club - hohohho
I think it my finger trouble. I'm sure Dave M won't object to being the club dame especially at panto time.
A good day out. I'd forgotten about early starts. Thanks for the photos Kevin and Bob.
Hi all, looks like another good day that I have missed!
It is a real shame that it wasn't very busy though!
Excellent! That looks like a good spread of models, and some well-deserved accolades for Kevin.
Jon
Looks like you had a great day and well done Kevin. Thanks for sharing the photos.
