After finishing the LRDG jeep, I've started a 1/35 SAS jeep using Tamiya's US army Jeep because it was the more modern version that Tamiya make. I also have Eduard's brass etching to use.
A good start Bob. Looking forward to this.
Nice work Bob.
I have one of these in the 'stash' so I'll be watching how it turns out after the 'Bob' treatment.
No doubt we will see it suitably 'posed' against one of your photographic backdrops.
Just a little progress.

Looking good Bob.
Looking good and the figure could join the club comm as he is headless hoho
But aren't the brains of the committee hidden elsewhere in the anatomy?
Only joking.........
Nearly finished. A couple of pictures.
Looking mighty good Bob. The camouflage is different.

Jeep finished, now a couple of figures.
Looks good.
They certainly know how to load up a jeep. Looks great.
Didn't we have a discussion recently about how to tell water from fuel? I know the Germans marked theirs but wasn't ours done differently?
Not able to tell water from fuul (unless its rum-thats fuel to me) but talked to an old Russian marine engineer once and he told me he dropped some black pepper in his vodka because during the war the fuel tank and the vodka tank was next to each other - so leakage occured and the pepper collected the bits of fuel and dropped to the bottom of the glass. Strange how things come back to you when somebody talks about something different :o :o :o
Forgot to add - jeep looks great Bob
Changed the driver side jerrycan but it's still under new management. Started painting two figures to finish this off.
Nice.
I could do with hat like that in this weather. Are they telling the fisherman "The harbour's that way"?
Figures finished, couple of pictures with the jeep included.

I think he's saying.....
'
'Are you sure McDonald's is that way'
Very nice Bob. Excellent work.
