Title: Daimyo Zak & headquarters under attack
Post by: MSea on April 26, 2025, 09:40:50 AM
Always on the lookout for something to do on playdays - found this in St Crispins Arcade Beverley for £5 - yes befor anybody asks it was the heads on a pole that attracted me hohohho
As well as Diamyo Zak and his men the set has 6 ninja figures, so that ninja Martin, ninja Howard attacking him but I need 4 more volunteers  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)
Yes ChrisH the riders all have "HORO" a cloak worn over a bamboo framework as you mentioned some time ago.

Good to see your memories not failing yet. If you put one of the heads on the ground then you could re-enact the scene from Shogun where was it Ishido was buried up to his neck and passers by were invited to saw at his neck with  bamboo saw? Nice!! This after he was told he would die an old man!!!

3 wire trees made during playday 28 - they are windswept before somebody says they are at an angle  :P  :P  :P
Fastened down onto some plastic cards with pegs and next job glue and then filler to make the bark.

C'mon Martin every ones danced to Plastic Bertrand. If you'd called out people who'd danced to Tee Garden and Van Winkle and got some takers then I would have been surprised.

Trial to sort out position and size of base - think it will end up with just 2 trees, so will have to come up with another name for just 2 trees hohohohoho

Base made and painted black on the edges and brown on the main part, so if any shows through the grass it will look like mud.
Looked in the wood store and found a nice bit of mahogany but though its for "Daimyo Dave so put it back and got a chunk of MDF yoho yoho yoho
