I am being patient and allowing the yellow paint to dry thoroughly before moving on.
In the mean time I opened this and what a really nice kit it looks, parts nicely formed and moulded, so yes, I started it.
Impatient, no never.....................what me?
Here is the engine, its really good and the instructions give the actual names of the parts like Airfix and others used to do.
You've certainly got stuck into this one Dave. Yes it was from the original Airfix kits I learnt all the various parts of an aircraft.

Me too, and other stuff about vehicles etc.
Its all new to me hohohhoho
Chassis assembled and the engine added, then the exhausts and the rear axle.
The exhausts were sprayed black and then a sort of steel/metallic/grey.
More details added to the chassis.
Looking good - on the road soon ::) ::) ::)
Chunky tyres, bet you don't get 4 of them for £80!!!! Exhausts are one of the items I find difficult to paint sometimes but like you have resorted to silver over black and I now do this when using gunmetal as well, which seems too silvery to me.
Great detail Dave. Looking excellent.
After the painting, drying some will need another coat.
The interior takes shape.
They look comfy seats - just feel like a dozzzzzzeeeeeee now godnight all :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\
I presume the seat centres are decals? Look good.

Yes, they are, but they look ok.
Looking good, those seats are great.
The kit comes with a trailer, and a dune buggy.
Here is the trailer.
The dashboard and steering wheel detail.
Another masterpiece in the making.
Decals applied and various parts added, still lots to do.
A ray of sunshine in that orange scheme.
Half cab added and bits of bling.
Now onto the Dune Buggy.
Off to the beach then.........
Looks really nice.

Thanks!
Excellent work Dave. You have quite a collection now.

Growing by the hour!
I have been painting the parts for the dune buggy as the relevant colour was used on the Ford Bronco. For some reason the orange is still a bit tacky.
Decals next.
You could go to town weathering the dune buggy, it's a prime candidate.
It's looking very good Dave.
Continuing with the Ford Bronco Theme, this is the Ford Bronco 4WD Pick-up. The kit is from 1990.
Not as much engine detail as the half cab version.
In fact the exhaust manifolds seem to finish in mid air and are not connected to the rear part of the exhaust.
That's what you call 'American Engineering'..........
Do you have a large garage for all these vehicles Dave?

No!
Interior work in progress.
Exterior painted and the chrome bits added, decals next.
Looking very plush.
It's all white I suppose!
The decals proved a bit of a challenge, they did not seem to want to come off their backing sheet for some reason, much time and care was needed, note to self - "What do you expect when you buy and older kit?". It was from 1990, is that old, certainly makes me feel old.
Of course there is more, a trailer and a boat.
The trailer is about finished and the boat has so far been undercoated.
Well you did well with the decals Dave. I'll say again - very plush looking.
Have a closer look and you will see all the mistakes and the unsteady hand when painting!
Another great build.
Decals added and a coat of varnish, boat finished, that's it all done.
Excellent work Dave.
Excellent work Dave, a smart looking model.
Cracking job.
