I was in a charity shop recently and on the shelf was an old Airfix kit of the QE.2. Original label said a price of £1.20p. Charity shop label, £50 down from £100. Time to check the stash methinks? Some of us must be sat on a goldmine!!

Think you might have been into the YMCA charity shop in Driffield. They had numerous ship kits in a fortnight ago the QE2 for then £100 and the SS France for £20. Both tatty boxes. I went to see a week later and the SS France had gone but the QE2 down to £50.
I bet the person who donated them might have been a little surprised to see the marked prices on them.
I thought charity shops were meant to be cheap.?
