This is the old 1/35 scale Tamiya M48A3.
Started this just before I went on holiday.
It's an old kit so started by filling all the holes in the lower hull to take motor.
It will be finished as a USMC tank in Vietnam hopefully.

A good start Bob.
Well on the way - finished by club meeting ::) ::) ::) ::)
Is that Octobers meet.

How about Sept hohohho
It'll be December!
Whenever it is finished it will be great :D :D :D
Hi Bob,
It looks like it will be another oldie turned into a goodie in your hands.
Will be nice to see at whichever meeting it is ready for.

I agree with Kev.
Lower hull done, made a start with the turret, I'm using some parts from an AFV club M48 which will be used for another project.
Very nice.
Looking good Bob.
Another creation from the "Hutton-Cranswick" Tank Factory. Will it be let loose at Keighley?
Nice work.
Not for keighley, I'm on 1:1 decorating duties, but still managed to add some sandbags to the turret, make a cover for the light and prime it.
I see what you mean about the "added protection" to the turret. I suppose it hampered the effectiveness of the tank quite somewhat.
Looking good so far.
Looking very nice Bob.
This was finished earlier this month and seen at the December Club night. Not the finish I wanted, but because the sandbags were resin I had trouble getting the last row to look realistic, so change of plan, plenty of filler and sanding and some mr hobby 500 and it didn't turn out to bad.
Figures Callsign and Alpine, compo is Tamiya.

Another photo for the web site ;) ;) ;) ;)
Great work Bob, well done.
Excellent Bob.
Another great piece of military modelling
Excellent result Bob. Proves there's plenty of life left in those earlier Tamiya kits. I especially like the canvas mantlet cover finish.
