Started this while waiting for bits on the Chinook to set. Plenty of colour on this one.
Now you will be doing the top one in the instructions and not the bottom one Chris - hohohhohoho
Correct. I've got to have some colour amongst all the grey and green camouflaged models.

tooooooooooooooo far!
Definitely toooooooo far!
So is it yellow-grey and red-grey? Lol!!!!!!
Just to show progress. Cockpit assembled and part painted.
There's some nice detail in there.
I'm sure you will do that interior justice Chris.
Kevin
Thanks.
Fuselage assembled now.
Great progress.
Coming along nicely.
Now ready for primer after doing a few modifications - changing the aerial fit and flotation mechanism and adding the search light under the nose.
Looking very nice.
Kevin
Looking forward to the colours going on.
After several coats of yellow.
Note to self: use white primer for yellow.
Looks good Chris.
Have you ever thought of using a light pink as an undercoat?
it apparently helps with the opacity of Yellow schemes.
Kevin
That sounds like an interesting tip.
Some additional colour on now. A bit otouching up required due to a bit of leakage on the masking.
Looking very colourful.

Coming along nicely. If you remeber Kev I tried the pink primer approach once and ended up with orange!!!! Must have used the wrong shade of pink?

I do, Chris.
I'm adding some yellow to my Jet Provost so I'll have a go at my suggestion, and hopefully mine will come out a nice shade of Yellow.
As to Chris's helicopter, Looking very nice.
Kevin
Just about ready for the decals.
Finisged at long last. A nice little kit. A few small modifications added - aerial fit, search light and floatation equipment.
Nice work Chris.
One to be proud of and another one completed to add to the Wilson Whirlybird Section.
Kevin
Very nice and colourful Chris.
Bob c
