Yes, there is a likeness. This one looks like a Colonial Viper which has had its wings clipped.

Three shades of brown didn't look right. So I replaced the darkest brown with a dark grey which now looks closer to the photographs I have of the beast.

Chris, That's a stunning paint job on what to my mind is an ugly helicopter. Masking must have been a challenge.

Thanks Francis. The two browns were airbrushed, then I gave up and hand painted the grey.

It is another great model Chris - it looks an evil looking machine, but the double height rotors always look strange to me
