Next one from the stash to do. Can't have enough Seakings.
You can't have enough Seakings. ;D
In tbe kit there are options for three variants; one a US marines and two USN SH-3D and SH-3H.
I shall be making the SH-3H.
Another nice Seaking to watch.

Cabin and cockpit complete. Another shade of grey.

In fact, Chris could actually be our own B&W SMC's 'Greys Anatomy' star.

Knowing Chris,
He probably has enough to build one for every country that flew them!

No, SEA KING royalty deserve only the best recognition for their efforts.
I would prefer to bow rather than curtsey, don't normally wear a dress like you Msea.
He is the king of helicopters in the club nonetheless.
Cheers,
Kevin

Thnaks Kevin. Don't look too closely though.
Fuselage largely done. Note the sponsons are larger than the Westland helicopters.
Masked up ready for the shade of grey on the undersides.
Shades of grey - that's not like you Chris - hohohoho
I wonder what his house is decorated? Hmmm........

Quite saintly outlook then.
Bigkev
Are you sure that's shades of white or is it shades of RED - hohohho
Red?
Perhaps MSea's meds are wearing off? Anyway white is just a very, very pale grey so it fits in with everything else (perhaps?).

Perhaps......
But there is now a 'White' that reflects up to 98% of sunlight, apparently.
So I think 'White' is actually getting 'Whiter'.
Good Lord, I just thought, we may go to a model show and some smart (person) may say that's not the correct shade of white.
For me Tamiya XF-2 White is good enough,,,,,
Bigkev
Nearing completion. Another shade of grey on the shade of white.
SO Procol Harum then?
A whiter shade of pale.
That was known as the "Sea Sick" song at sea
Coming along nicely, they always looked good in white and gray.

Little tricky bits to do now.

Yes I have previously made both versions from the Airfix kit many years ago. I still have the built models but they are not quite upto my more recent standard of build. They're ok if viewed from about 10 feet plus.
Almost ready for decals.
looking good so far.
Bob c
Interesting to see that you've 'tooled it up' before decalling.
Decalling in progress. This kit, probably because I've had it a long while, it's decals had crinkled. Luckily I had another identical kit but it's decals were not quite as bad. So I scanned those in and created some new ones. That's why this is taking a bit longer. Hopefully I'll be finished in a few days.
Hats off to you Chris,
Scanning and making your own decals, impressed.
Cheers,
Bigkev

You do what you gotta do!
Finished at last. The decals took a while to put on.
The Fujimi is a nice kit - parts fitted together well.
Another great addition to the ever growing collection.
I'll second that.
Thanks chaps - need more space.
Don't we all?
Superb job Chris. Well done.
