Here is my latest project, the ARMA Hobby 1/72 Hurricane IIb. Gem of kit and excellent detail, fit and overall surface treatment.
As an experiment I'm going to use the new Humbrol Acrylic Dropper Paints. Not a large range at the moment but a bit of careful mixing should do the trick.
I'll follow up soon to report on how it went.
You just love your Humbrol/Airfix, a real enthusiast.
Interesting how you were impressed with the fit as I was in contact with someone recently who'd built one and had problems. Probably not as skilled as you, lol!!!
Surface detail looks great.
Andy.
Yes, the fit is like a lot of the newer CAD designed kits. All surfaces have to be clean and free of paint otherwise the fit isn't good. I was impressed with the fit of my kit. NO FILLER WAS USED IN THE MAKING OF THIS KIT!!!
Sounds like a kit for me. ;D
Andy.
Got shares in airfix, I've always seen good comments about these kits.

Nice kit and great clean build.
Well done,

After what seems to be quite a time I've now finished the ARMA Hobby Hurricane IIc. Lovely little kit, the photo really doesn't do it justice. I shall be writing brief review of the kit and Humbrol's new Dropper paints for the Newsletter.
Nice work.
Great looking model, well done.
Good looking model Bill.

That's a lovely job Bill. Were the landing and navigation lights out of the box too? If so, they really look the part.
It looks great. I will be interested to read your review of
the paints
Wizzel, yes, completely OOB. Landing lights and wing tip navigation light covers are included and a very good fit.
looks a nice kit. Just read that ARMA are going to bring out a 1/48 Hurricane llC later 2021.
