My first LF Models build. Mouldings look ok. We'll see how it goes together.

				Hi Chris,
That looks good.
Didn't something like that feature in that film with Mickey Rooney 'Bridges over the River Kwai' or similar?

Looks like this could be a tail-sitter?

Good point you've made. I'll have to be careful.

Slow progress with this one  - a fair amount of small brass parts. The mouldings are quite thick but the detail on the fuselage is reasonable. The plastic is a little soft - presumably low production runs similar to Amodel.
The photo shows the cockpit assembly with all the brass bits prior to painting.
The glazing is crystal clear.

				Nice cockpit detail there.

				Cockpit now painted.

Looks like you're becoming a 'Wiz' with the etched brass.

I don't know about that. It takes a while to put togther with the tweezers. At least the brass bits have not pinged off into the middle of nowhere.

I really doubt that Kevin.

				another nice helicopter Chris

Fuselage together with some filling done.
A few more bits of brass etc to go yet for the rotor hub.

For some strange reason I always liked their shape.

I agree it looks like a chopper should look like

Interestingly enough I do remember vaguely having a polythene "model" of one of these when I was very small.

				Classic shape.
Andy.

Now undercarriage and cockpit front on.

				Like the look.

				Hi Chris,
Nice looking model, now where is the scale 'Mickey Rooney?'
Cheers,
Bigkev

Who would you model the figure of Mickey Rooney on ??????????
Just reading the new issue of Fine Scale Modeler - Dec 2020 - an article on the Academy 1/35 scale MH-60S Seahawk  this has been super detailed and think you would enjoy it, they have it in Smiths in Beverley today.

Have you seen that Kovozavody Prostejov have released the Robinson R-44 Raven in Civil and Military boxings? Another small chopper for the collection?

The Bridges at Toko-Ri, Great film but the casting was terrible.
Great build Chris.
Andy.

Here it is painted with several coats of yellow.
Note to self: use white primer instead of grey for yellow top coat.

Coming along nicely. You could have used the grey as pre-shading?

Here it is complete with the usual Mr Hobby paints. Not a bad build; mouldings a little thicker but that works to the advantage as there are no locating pins and holes.

Is it a banana Chris or have I have to many rums -- hohohoho -- it looks great well done and a vertical take of to do next, what ever next maybe a SHIP

Unlikely me thinks.

I do like these variants. Nice job Chris.

				Thanks.

It looks nice Chris. What about a picture of your collection.

You made a real good job of that Chris.  A real bonny looking kit and great work on the etched brass too.

				Looks really good

Collection of what? I'd never get all the choppers in one picture. This is the only on of this type so far in the collection. One or two more in the stash to do though.
