Hi,
Think I am about 10% on HS scale, just about..............!
Though Haddock makes outstanding models, they don't mean yours are any less outstanding.

So is the measurement of skill now based in Units of "HS". I think that this is a jolly good idea! We should define this!

This could get very messy and complicated.

Just thinking
( its that word again )
do you think I am trying to get to much use out of each blade when i break them and reuse at a smaller size - or is this in keeping with the club motto
"its got to be cheap"
??

Start on adding the rails. The model is by Zvezda and is excellent. The fit is so neat you can't have a coat of paint on the bits if you want a good fit
Photo 6 shows the way they have made the ships sides and deck so that a groove is left, to fit the rails into - makes life easy.
Photo 7 before you all complain that I have NOT made the rails follow the shape of the ships sides - I found a close up photo of this section on the ship itself and the rails
DONT
follow the sides but cut across like I have done - research is everything.

Ship ready for transfers and the ships boats and anchor with chains fitted. The aft gangway has had some hand rails made from some spare deck rails.
