Title: Last of the Line
Post by: meremodeller on January 19, 2013, 02:39:45 PM
Not I hasten to add the last of my Spitfires/Seafires.

This is the method I have used to correct Trumpeters 1/48 scale Seafang. At least the wheels are correct this time!

Pt 1. Correct the wing position as I did for the Spiteful by moving it back 3mm. padding out the Cowlings and wing root fillet at the same time. Drill out new camera ports.

Reduce the depth of the radiators and adjust the u/c legs whilst the fuselage is setting.

More to follow.

Hi meremodeller,

Looking good so far, I'm looking forward to seeing it on the club table for us all to see. I just think your the best in the Spitfire/Seafire class, they all look so cool!

No doubt a certain Mr. Robinson will be keen to look at this one too.
