Hi Kiteman,

Well what a great bunch of modellers you lot are.

It is heartening to hear you have a junior modeller amongst your ranks. His model is as good as many a senior model makers, so give him my congratulations next time you see him.
The cars are as you say superb, I love that diorama/posing of the models. They always are more interesting than just 'stand alone models'. Bases or in your case 'Sea' brings the subject to life.

Well done to all at Havixbeck Model Club.

Bigkev
I hope my next is always better

Don't trust him Zak.  He's not paid me back for his own subs yet!!!

It's truly great to see this taking off after all the initial doubts.  We'll have to get some sort of twinning thing off the ground now that it looks like being a permanent thing.  Just wondering if any of the locals drink tea instead of coffee - or do you not offer it due to the difficulty of getting English teabags?

We over here, don`t have the luxury of model Shows as you do in England. here they are very few and far between and you must travel to get there. However in March there in an International Model Expo just 20 mins down the road so we, as a club, are going to pop along. This will be our first club trip and we are all looking forward to it.  I personally will be very interested on the German perspective. I know that they are a Nation of perfectionists so i will be rivet counting I think...serves èm right!
Here is a link to the show.......check it out, comments welcome.

yes, well spotted, we have a card modeller in the Club. He produces the models himself, from scratch.
