As I'm still waiting for the delivery from Hannants with the Do17 paint masks and various other items this kit has moved up on the production line.
Dating from 1985. or is that 1895?, it's in the usual, for then, two colours of plastic and I can say without a doubt 'it fits where it touches'. As I'm making the NF.12 with the framed canopy the only extras I've added in the cockpit are seat-belts. Also, as the inside is painted black you wouldn't see a lot of detail anyway.
The photos show some of the gaps that are going to need a lot of TLC to correct.
If you decide to make this kit as a NF.14 then remember that Matchbox, along with others, got the nose for that version too long. It should be the same length as the NF.12. For some reason earlier references had the real thing as 7 inches longer, which it isn't. It only looks it in some photos.
I've added braces to the mudguards from fuse wire as these are missing in the moulding.
