Just painted filler with a couple of layers of Klear  on top. Thought about putting a couple of sharks fins cutting the water but will save that for a ship model - ho ho ho.

Looking Good Martin,

Took you a while to show the light from under the bushel, but boy does it shine bright.
Great work, shows the great research you have done.
Brilliant.

I hope my next is always better

Thanks Kev just trying to keep up with the rest of you.
Blacksmith Luke needed a rack for his holding tools and his light saber as well - I am getting as daft as the rest of you.
First attempt ally bar superglued - not very strong, so make a brass rack soldered together. The tools are brass bar flattened at the end and a box joint filed into them so they could be soldered and look the part.

Starting to look busy now, hurry up and get it done so you can get to work on the boat.
Haddock.

I never get chance to see the models in much detail at meetings as I'm undertaking the rest of my duties so it's a real treat to see this come together.  Stacks of detail Martin, Great work.

After 20 years as a marine engineer the main thing I learnt was that "if you can't fix it with a hammer its not fixable " so decided to make Luke some hammers and more forge tongs to keep him happy. Now for a couple of days working on the tanker to keep  Haddock happy and make sure he doesn't shout at me !!!!
