This is to replace our show that would take place early in September.
Please post here any models that you would have put on display at our model show.
It may be best to have just one or two pictures of each model - taken from it's best side.
Include details such as scale and make please.

Hi Zak,
Thanks for starting this thread.
It would be nice to see as many different models featured here that would of been on display at 'Our Show' if would of been able to have it.
Over to you guys to start submitting.
Cheers,
Bigkev

I'll set the ball rolling with a collection of the Black Hawk family of helicopters. It's not complete as I have a few more to add. Hopefully I'll get the photos in the right order to match up with the descriptions.
All are 1/72nd scale and some were made a while ago before I got really serious with the modelling.
A UH-60A Black Hawk - Hasegawa
B SH-60B Sea Hawk - Hasegawa
C EH-60C Quick Fix - Fujimi
G MH-60G Pave Hawk - Hasegawa
H HH-60H Rescue Hawk - Italeri with Hawkeye Models conversion
J HH-60J Jayhawk - Italeri with Hawkeye Models conversion
K MH-60K Black Hawk - Hasegawa
L UH-60L Black Hawk - Italeri
N VH-60N President's Hawk - Hasegawa with Hawkeye Models conversion
Later I have the F and Q versions to add sometime.

Wow, quite a collection there.
-
Great Idea, Dave
Will you be able to do your Airfield and Cobble Landing in the equivalent of CinemaScope?
-
What a lovely collection, it would have been good to see it for real.

Hi Chris,

We need to get our builds up to speed to match yours.

Here's my contribution to the VMS. I thought I'd get in before Zak takes up the next 40 pages, lol!!!
Everything is 1/72 scale and from top to bottom are:
Flak Panther Ausf D
Rheinmetall-Borsig F.55 'Feuerlilie'
Rheinmetall-Borsig 'Rheintochter' R1 auf PzKpfw E-50
EMW C2 'Wasserfall' W-5 auf E-100 Waffentrager
Blohm und Voss Ae 607
Heinkel He P.1078-04B
Lippisch P.15-02
Haunebu II - this in itself with the accompanying vehicles would have taken up my allotted 2ft x 2ft!!!
-
Very nice selection of what if's.
-
Nice collection of models there Chris.
-
This will be quite difficult, I may have to put pictures on of the models that would have been part of a Battle of Britain Diorama.

Difficulty in selecting from all those you have created Dave? Tough choices - they are all good.
-
My BoB models that appeared in the newsletter would also have gone to the Show as part of the planned BoB display.
-
Nice collection Chris, I’ll have to get a move on otherwise there won’t be enough space on the table.
Bob c
-
Thank Bob, I would have 'negotiated' on space allowed me, lol!!!
-
My display was going to be the filming of the BoB Movie so I can put them all on as there is indefinite space allowed.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong but this is a "virtual" display so we can have a "virtual" table, size of a football pitch if we need it.
Haddock.

That is correct, but can I be bothered posting it all again, it is already on here.

[/Errr. Isn't this your idea!
-
I was asked to start the thread but it wasn't my idea.
-
I see a game of "pass the buck" starting - hohohohhohohoho
-
I’ve got some to display just not finished yet.

Could they be 'Virtually Finished'

In theory we would have all of the Rix Pavillion to display in this year so get posting everyone.
-
I have only finished two models this year, the gladiators and 92 Foot, which
have both been "documented" on the site so I thought that I would show older stuff that has had only limited
exposure previously. None of the three have been to a Club night, as I recall, and both the Red Lancer and the Knights
appeared once only, I think, at the Show a few years ago.
All are 90 mm, the Lancer and Dragoon being Poste Militaire kits and the Knights were done by "Soldiers" I think.
All are white metal and were painted with oils.

Hi Red Lancer,
Exquisite as ever!
If I only had a tenth of your figure painting skill, I would be happy.
Sadly, I don't.

Pinched my word "Exquisite" is exactly right. Really superb.
-
Here are a few of mine, I need to set up the airfield really, maybe another day.
All have been on the Battle of Britain diorama before.
-
Wow!
-
Double wow !!
-
Howard strikes again. They say it's the quiet one's you have to keep an eye on, lol!!!!
-
I tried to take some pictures of the whole diorama - outside - not without its perils.
Here it is. |I know I posted some on The BOB diorama, but can I find them?
-
Howard and Dave strike again. All the models are truly excellent.
-
Just to bring the level of the models on the table DOWN - this is a couple of mine.
For all details look on the web site to see them under construction.
-
Well done Martin.
-
A great collection Martin. What will the magic mushrooms inspire next?
-
Just look on the web site to find out - hohohoho
-
Dave.
The B of B Airfield looks absolutely great. Just what is the size of it (approx)?
