I do like the idea of a "photo" competition.  It's amazing how different your work looks on camera and when snapping my stuff for posting on here, I spot all sorts of things you didn't realise were there.  This improves me as a modellers as I can rectify or duplicate as necessary.  It doesn't matter if the model isn't Telford Gold standard - crafty camera angles can hide little imperfections and thoughtful positioning can really show off a decent bit of work.  You wouldn't have to be a member of the guild of master photographers either.

I also like the calendar idea - maybe for sale to club members rather than to the (modelling) world in general, at first anyway.  We would put club meeting dates and other show dates on it.  It could be a good way of raising a few quid for the club - I for one would buy one.  Poppy had a few made as Christmas presents last year through Vistaprint and they were very good indeed for the price - and Kiteman has had one too!  We should maybe investigate this a little more.

This has certainly provoked the old grey cells into action, well done Tony, you may be more than just an engineer!

I don't know what you mean.
All those things seem to occur when baby sitting as well.
