Hi All,
I know you think I have dropped off the edge of the planet modelling wise, but I haven't. I have been making this Italeri HC.3 Merlin Helicopter for a colleague at work. My modelling has been put on hold whilst I do this. I am glad to say I'm nearly done and I can get on with my next project soon.
I have just bobbed a few pictures of the model as it is now. It still needs the window frames touching in, the wheels attaching, and some final aerials and cable cutters adding and painting. Model is finished in Xtracolour enamels and Tamiya acrylics mainly. Model built straight from box.
Will post final pictures once complete, probably end of this week, fingers crossed.
Cheers,
Bigkev

Looking impressive, how can you give it away?

I'm afraid its not mine to keep.
it belongs to my colleague, I'm just building it for him.

Hi All,
Well its virtually there. Just the refuelling probe and towel rail aerial to paint and fit. Then a few touch ups here and there and a little Vallejo varnish to seal some late additions and match rest of airframe.
Few pics to show progress this week.

I think if that was me, I would swear blind that I'd been burgled and the model had been nicked, really wouldn't want to part with it.

Hi All,
Well its now done. Final bits added, and a little touching up here and there.
I am pleased with the final result, and hope my colleague is too.
Some pictures of the 'Merlin' follow.
