Undercoated last night some painting and assembly today.
It was all undercoated grey and then white on the body as it is to be yellow.

As to scale, the man is over scale and the car under, so that's that then.

Thanks Mr Beesting, yes, 1952.
Assembly was straight forward, parts need some cleaning up required
The sub- assemblies are not glued, just test fitted at this stage.
Once again the question of scale raises its head.
The figure is 1/32, as is the car, I will endeavour to discover which, if any is correct.

Thanks Martin.

This was bought for my birthday last year by my son (in Australia).
He bought it for a reason - come on what was it?

Painting continues and while it dries I decided to try to finish all those little projects that are half finished.
Mistake really, its not the way to model, my heart is not really in it so you get what you see.
It is still WW1 related though.
Like Kevin I bought the 1/32 Italeri Sopwith Camel, well I started it, got so far and then back into a box it went. Well here it is, warts and all.
Now onto all those Christmas presents that people think you want.

General Discussion / Re: Book "Abandoned Places"

Just finished this book ( yes Zak I can read ) from The Works -- last time I was in the shop they had none left.  It tells in 150 striking images, the stories of ghost towns, flooded shopping malls, eerily rusting amusement parks and forgotten railways.
It got me thinking about Haddocks comment when I made the Ilyushin Il28 Beagle "have you ever considered doing something clean and undamaged"  -- after this book I think the answer is NO.
That must be a lie, it looks like lots of pictures to me!

Photos of progress to date.
Still lots to do.
I left as many hatches and doors open as I could but you can see very little of the detail inside.
