This will be the next model under construction. Got this from Model Hobbies when I got Andy the Stormtrooper and have been waiting for the Green Stuff World colourshift metal paints.
Had a trip to Brid with "she who must be obeyed" for a walk and some ozone, and YES it did rain before you ask, popped into Mighty Lancer and picked up the paint and had a chat with Nathan. The models are a human, a robot and an android - they will be made straight from the box, trying the new paint on the android and the robot. Will also make a bar for them all to go in, will get on with this a I am finishing the other models under construction, so may be a slow build.
-
The only problem with Mighty Lancer, you have to know what you want as you can't look round.
I called in Croppers the other day.

Yes, I suppose that is a big drawback at the moment.
But, its better to safe than sorry, I'd like to be still around to do modelling next year.....
Perhaps a phone call in advance to ask might be the answer short term....
Cheers,

Base and 2 back walls made.
A bar, mirror, door and wanted poster area to make and fit to walls before fastening together - yes the wanted posters will have some well known people on it - hohohohoho
-
That's a surprise Martin.
-
I think one of them has a name starting with C - hohohohohoh

Three sections screwed together and first coat of black paint all over - after 2 more coats will add wallpaper and wood floor.
-
Wallpaper added
-
Floorboards and skirting boards fitted.
-
Where did you get the wallpaper? Then I know where not to go.
-
HoHoHo aren't you funny.
It was a dolls house shop in York, having a sale and for some reason nobody wanted this wallpaper - don't know why hohohoho - the shop has been shut down for a couple of years, so you are safe.
-
Phew!
-
Tracy may have a roll or two upstairs!!!!
-
Bar made - still needs the foot rail and some varnish on the bar top.
-
First wanted poster made - hohohohoho
-
Small robot under construction.
-
First wanted poster made - hohohohoho
Forging what - helicopter blades?
-
You forge what will make you the most money - hohoho
-
The small robot has had holes drilled and pins fitted to the head and the arms for extra strength.
Some work also done on the android waitress.
-
Now ready for some gloss black on the waitress and some paint on the robot.
This will have to wait till after the end of the Liverpool match.
-
Work started on the human mercenary/bounty hunter.
-
Dry run with figures in position.
-
Looking good Martin, you may need some advice from Bill re the female figure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
No -- I need to be able to put it on show -- hohohohoho
-
Steady on gentlemen, you'll be getting a rush of blood!!!
-
Two coats of gloss black on the figure, when dry will start with the "nebula copper" colourshift metal paint.
-
Looks good!
Sometime I must ask about the story regarding Bill and female figures!

Don't do it Howard - you will never speak to him the same again - hohohohoho
-
I will tell you Howard, meet me in a quiet place sometime.
It is one of his many foibles! (Bill, that is).

Have you both signed the club's official secret act?
Bigkev
-
As a fully paid up KGB member i can say what I want -- as long as that's OK with the rest of you - hohohohoho
-
Some more work done on the robot.
-
Nebula Copper airbrushed onto the android. When dry will add gloss black for the expansion joints and some skin colour.
-
Very bright and coppery.
-
Looks nice, wish I had a use for it.
Haddock.
-
Excellent colour Martin.
-
Wanted posters added to the wall and second photo shows the figures as well.
-
Nice wallpaper - left over from your dolls house days?
Some very dodgy characters on those posters.
-
Some very dodgy characters on those posters.
They are under the heading "Wanted Posters" , not that anybody I know would want them - hohohohohohoho
-
Quite.
-
First photo is the mirror surround covered in vallejo dry rust and the front half with oxide stippled onto it. Second photo shows the frame covered in chipping medium and then covered in verdigris and the last shot with some of the verdigris removed with water.
-
Is there no end to your skills.
Bigkev
-
If you need to look at skills - look no further than Zaks page.
-
Some great work coming from you with all the bits and pieces you find a use for. Well done.
-
I like the verdigris on tbe mirror surround Martin. As good as your rubbish.
-
Like it, Like it.
Andy.
-
More work done on the figures
-
I wouldn't like to order from her!
-
Looking good Martin.
-
Does she work in Wetherspoon's?
-
Does she work in Wetherspoon's?
Not seen her Chris
-
How can you have a pub and not have bottles of booze - so some now made from sprue.
-
To be expected Martin.
-
Will you there be Social Distancing and Track and Trace at the Pub?
-
Will you there be Social Distancing and Track and Trace at the Pub?
Yes and Yes to that Chris - they are looking for a M Mouse and D Duck at the moment.
-
Nice to hear social distancing still applies even in modelling.
Cheers,
Bigkev
-
Two figures and some bits and bobs added to the pub.
-
Some more work done on the last figure - yes he is arm-less before somebody points it out - thank you - hohohohoho
-
Arms and other bits added to the figure and finished painting the small things like screens and controls.
When dry he just needs a grime wash and some pigments and then he is OK to add to the pub scene.
-
Nice job, a muscular looking bloke.
-
Looks like a cross between Howard and Kryton from Red Dwarf.
-
Nice looking figures Martin.
-
Thank you Chris - its just not up to Howard standard.
-
Soldier finished and added to the scene.
-
Looks good, but would I want to drink there?
-

-
Excellent Martin.

Don't think the robot is keeping social distance rules of 2 metres - so if the waitress doesn't hit him, think he will be asked to leave - reminds me of committee meetings in the pub now who does the robot look like ??????

You will be in trouble Zak - hohohohoho - couldn't happen to a nicer person !!!!!!
-
Looks really good, figures are excellent.

Thank you Howard but they look better in the photo than in real life
