The kit was originally purchased from a Fenwick store for 3s/6d.
The moulding is sharp and parts are well moulded, very nice for a kit produced in 1966.
I started it before I took any photos, hence those above from Scalemates.
The instructions and exploded view lead to an easy and clear assembly sequence.
It has been suggested that bleached linen would be the appropriate colour with wooden undercarriage, I have just found a recipe that I may try – Tamiya XF2 x 10 + XF55 x1. I did, but added 1 x XF59 as it looked a bit gray.
Metal parts are light or dark grey as are the tyres.
On the Shuttleworth one, the fuel tank is brass, but this has the Anzani engine.
The kit suggestion is silver.
