Hi, spoke to Kevin the other day, says he has heard nothing from the organisers as yet. The show is supposed to be the saturday of the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, I think.

Hi All,
Sorry for my non-attendance at the last meeting. Dave is correct, I have had no contact from the Railway Club about their show this year other than it being muted last year that they would hold it probably at the May Bank Holiday in 2011.

I have Not received an invite from them to date, and I now think that it is an unlikely proposition for us to attend as a club with just over two weeks to go.

As a club, I think we should wait to be invited, it is not for us to chase for a place at the show to attend. So unless any members out there are willing to step into the breach, and represent the club if asked to, at short notice, then we should consider it a no-goer this year.

I will post any other information as I get it.

Regards
Bigkev

We need a invite if we are going to attend as a club. The other thing is, I cant see many of us having a model finnished for the club comp.
Can we hold the comp at another event later on in the year???
Andy.

I agree with Andy, the model show was used for members to display their models and the visitors to vote on those models. What happens now?

Hi All,

Latest update on Railway Show at Bridlington Railway Station.
[/b]

Yesterday (the 16th) I received a message from David Harrison regarding the show to be held on Saturday 28th May.

It just says ' Are you Ok for for the 28th?, set up from 8am til 4pm'

Is anybody able and willing to display on behalf of club, at this late stage. I am unavailable, but have cloths and signs.
