I thought that I might be able to Anglicise this, time will tell.
Here is a picture of the box artwork and the contents of the box.
Lots of sprues and bits and pieces.
-
Could be interesting.
-
Looking forward to seeing this one running - ding ding
-
Only 810 parts to go...........................................
-
Is this going to become a furnicular ( no idea how to spell it) railway up and down the cliffs?
-
Oooh!!
Now you've done it.
Planted another seed in ZaK's mind.
Now for the 'Up's' and Down's' of modelling.
Bigkev
-
90 parts fitted, only another 720 or so to go.
-
Many thanks Tony (aka Haddock), the large aluminium plate was useful for keeping everything level.
One of your blocks on top as well.
See, you do come in useful.
-
90 parts fitted, only another 720 or so to go.
That'll slow you down a bit!
-
A nice cobble base and traction pole, bollards railings and a seat.
-
What an inspiration. In the allotment all morning then modelling all afternoon!!!
-
I like miniart kits maybe over engineered but nice, this one looks to have a really nice base.
Bob c
-
Yes, nice kits, but as you say perhaps a bit of over engineering.
Here is the motor bogie and it test fitted to the chassis.
-
Looks like a lot of complex detail. Excellent.
-
Painting and masking as I build.
I am leaving things in sections and will see how the assembly goes, everything can be removed.
The seats, the chassis and the bogies are not glued together yet.

How much for a ticket to ride your tram car ????????

1d for you - old money for you!
-
No inflation?
-
No inflation?
Only in certain areas - you will have to use your imagination!
-
Lifeguards fitted under the tram, these were to stop any unfortunate who went under the tram ending up under the wheels.
On one video build of the tram, someone referred to them as cow catchers.
Some passengers. They may have a long wait for the tram.
-
There are some very clever figure sculptors out there!
-
There's some incredible detail. Did the figures come with the tram? (When it was running of course!)
-

Yes, but they are also available seperately.
-
The figures do require some cleaning up and assembly, but they are nice.
-
Yes the figures look good.
-
Do the figures have names yet and are zombies allowed on your tram ??????
-
Controls added at each end.
The seats have been given a wash to enhance the grooves.
-
This is bringing back memories of childhood holidays to Blackpool. Especially with the tram controls.
-
Ditto,
I like the trams at 'Critch', this build remnds me of the working exhibits there.
Nice work Zak, keep it up.
Cheers,
Bigkev

Yes, Crich, been there a few times, nice museum.
-
More progress, sides added, the ends are not yet attached.
Doors next.
Then onto the roof.
-
You're certainly cracking on with this. It's looking excellent.
-
Looking good, that’s a tidy work area.
Bob c
-
Hi Zak,
Very nice to see this coming along.
Insperational.
Bigkev
-
Looks good!
-
Coming along nicely.
-
Here are some more of the figures.
"Foible Alert"
Tram diver and clippie as well.
That's them all built now, a bit of cleaning up and some filling and then painting required.
-
There are plenty of figures in this kit.

There are plenty of figures in this kit.
10 altogether, lots of stuff in the kit as well as the tram.
The cobbles have been painted and grouted with a Flory Wash.
On to painting and adding the street furniture.
I have added a drain and am wondering about a manhole cover (is this sexist? Should it be person hole cover?)
The tram doors and roof have been painted and are drying.
-
Cobbles look splendid!
-
Cobbles look splendid!
Thanks Tony, they were individually painted with 7 different colours, starting with a base colour and gradually adding other colours to slightly change the shade.
-
You're a dedicated modeller Dave. The cobbles certainly do look good.
-
Quality !!!!!
-
The tram roof fits where it touches, some major surgery and a rethink may be needed.
-
You could sort it out with a hammer !!!!!!
-
No Hammer, but a fillet of plastic applied to fill that annoying gap between the roof and the body.
Driver, conductor and two passengers added to the interior.
-
Looking great - I am now looking for my tram ticket so I can have a ride.
-
I have replaced all the plastic grab handles with home made brass ones, cleaning up the plastic ones was a nightmare. I have included a picture of them on the sprue - parts 14/15.
It doesn't look right or square on the picture - will have to alter that before it is added to the tram roof.
-
Looking great - I am now looking for my tram ticket so I can have a ride.
It looks likr you're already on it Martin - the old guy with the walking stick. Ho ho ho!
-
Looking good! Like the adverts for local food. Could you turn the passengers into members of the B&W club?
-

Nice, I wish I had thought of that!
-
Very impressive Dave.
Is the lady Judy Garland?
Andy.
-
Bow collector added, most British trams used trolley poles but some had bow collectors, so decided to live with it.
Trolley wire also on position.
I am starting to think about the background.
-
Looks really good!
-
The backscene will be low relief buildings.
This hopefully will be a pub.
Built from cereal packets and card - I am having to eat more for breakfast! (No comments about my waistline please).
-
Is it Special K or do you have your own Special Z ???????

Never said a word!

Fruit and Fibre for me.
-
Is that why you are a regular contributer???

Like clockwork.
-
I go AWOL for two days and another masterpiece is nearing completion, looks brilliant.
-
Looking really good.
-
Looking really good.
I agree,
in such a short time, another excellent model from Zak.
I think we need to spike his 'Fruit and Fibre' to slow him down.
Great work Zak.
Bigkev
-
Don't spike his fruit and fibre - just make him eat 7 bowls full in the morning, that will slow him down and he will then spend a lot of time in a very small room and a penny as well.
-
Looking really good Dave.
-
Working on the low relief buildings as a backscene, more people added.
-
Looking GREAT.
-
The tram is now complete, with anglicised adverts, only German ones are supplied in the kit.
Still a bit more to do on the backscene.
Th pub needs a name, it will be the Tramcar, the building next door will be the Tram Company Main Office.
Capping stones to paint and other bits still to do.
-
Here is the mostly unseen other side of the tram.
-
The pub now has a sign.
-
Just about finished, maybe some weathering on the buildings.
-
Fantastic model, as ever.
-
10 out of 10 and a gold star
-
10 out of 10 and a gold star
Could that be a "BSA GOLD STAR" - please.
-
I don't know how you do it Dave.
Lots to see in this one.
One of your finest.
Andy.
-
Sorry Zak - just a paper gold star you can buy your own motor bikes.
-
Excellent model again Dave. That guy with the green car gets everywhere. Do you think he's a spy?

I'm not sure, but he is well travelled.
-
Great again!
