Started this Airfix kit a few days ago. Nicely moulded.
-
Hi Chris,
Another variation on the vertical take off theme for you.
Looks good so far.
Cheers

None on this one.

You could always fit one if you wanted tooooooooooo - hohohoh

Nice kit of an aircraft that was withdrawn far to early, rotor blades behind the pilots seat so still keeping to your theme.

A little progress. Fuselage mostly together with the cockpit ready for attachment.

That's looking good, coming along nicely.

Coming along nicely. I've got the FRS.1 to build which I'll finish with decals for a Falklands Conflict aircraft. It will now go on the backburner as you're doing this one.
-
We could synchonise and display at the same club meeting.
-
The cockpit added to the fuselage and all the weapons pylons fitted.
-
I'll see what I can do. I could start mine whilst waiting for sections of the Messerschmitt to cure?
-
Undercarriage and various doors fitted.
-
Looks like it's going to be busy underneath.
-
Looks like a bad landing - should it not be the other way round - hohoho - great work
-
Yes, I shall have to paint all the ordnance before fitting.
-
Does the kit include decals for the Sidewinders? I've got some spare if you need them.
-
Hi Chris,
Thought that you we modelling the Australian variant of the Harrier seeing most shots are from underneath hahaha!

I'll look at the sheet. If they are too small I'll ignore them anyway. Thanks Chris.

Two coats of primer applied.
-
Hi Chris,
That looks nice and ready for it's colour scheme.
What type of primer are you using?

A few decals. I think I'll be missing a few.
-
Hmm.................
-
Completed. A pretty good model. The parts all fitted together nicely. Some decals were missed off.
The first picture is before all the weaponry was added.
-
That is a really nice Harrier!
A lovely build Chris, nice and crisp.
It may be a nice kit, but a good modeller makes it as good as this.
