I'm continuing the Cromwell saga by converting the Tamiya kit into a Cromwell DW using Accurate Armour sets.
I've already cut the hull top to convert the drivers area into a Vauxhall hatch and the engine deck to turn it into a D model, most of the rivets have to be removed to turn it into a welded hull type, hence the DW. I will post a picture when all of the converting has taken place.

Looks like plenty to keep you occupied there Bob.
-
You like your Cromwell's. ;)

Hi Bob,
I'll watch and learn from an expert.
Cheers,

Hi all
A bit of progress on the hull, new drivers section, rear upper hull, extra armour in front of gunner and driver and front of hull all resin. All required rivet detail removed, plastic card armour at rear with filler to represent welding.

Looking good Bob.

Proper modelling.

Why just stick bits together from a box when you can turn it into a proper model - with bits hacked off- will follow this one with glee.

Should that be with glue?

I'll leave that to your imagination Martin.

With my imagination that leaves it WIDE OPEN

Bit of a modelling block at the moment, but this is the Cromwell so far. Driver and front gunner crew figures inside.

Looking excellent Bob.

Another excellent model under construction Bob

Coming along nicely there Bob.
-
Keep at it Bob, I ma having a similar problem.
-
Calling this finished, just need the tank number front and rear when they arrive.
-
Really nice, I just love the clarity and the scenic setting.
-
I'll second that, well done Bob.
-
Excellent Bob.
Have a house point!
Brilliant photo's, pity we cannot see the actual item at a club meet.
Hopefully, we will all be able to see what we have built, 'in the flesh' during lockdown, in the near future, Boris permitting......
Nice Model, as always.
Cheers,
Kevin
