I know you are not keen on subs Haddock but have had this in the stash for a while and decided to just get on with it.
Now can you figure out what I am going to do with the 3 figures ?????
-
All 5 parts of the hull fastened together - next a good clean up and some filler.
Don't need to bother cleaning up the bottom of the hull as that will go with the figures - are you confused ????? HoHoHo
-
More bits and bobs added to the hull - before any of you say I have not filled in round the ford torpedo tubes - you will not see them when the model is in situation.
-
A start made on one of the figures - any ideas yet ?????
-
A start made on the second figure - any ideas now -- if you need a hint "you could get a present" ???????
-
20,000 leagues under the sea?

20,000 leagues under the sea?
Excellent idea - but wrong - try again.
-
The Hunt for Red October?
The Kursk disaster?
We dive at five?
-
All excellent ideas ( The Hunt for Red October is one of my favorite films ) but again wrong - one last try and I will give you another clue !!!!
-
Last clue from left to right - a polar bear, a red and white striped pole, a man in a long red coat with white fur trim and an inanimate child made object that makes your hands cold.
Now put that together with USS Nautilus - what was she the first to do ????
-
A base made for Nautilus and a hole hacked into the foam to sit her down - should be about the correct level when the surface has had some filler put on it.
-
Sail under the north pole?
-
Correct Haddock - but this time they have crashed through the ice and are meeting Father Christmas and a snowman -- Before you say it YES I should get out more.
-
Snowman nearly finished.
-
Work started on the igloo and also the North Pole sign.
-
More work on the sign and also on Father Christmas
-
Nautilus now crashing through the ice - well in my head at least

Is this an 'Icebreaking moment.....?'
Looks cold and frosty too...….
Cheers,
Bigkev
-
Cold and frosty but at least Father Christmas is on hand with lots of presents.
-
The igloo now has the lines drawn on it for the lines between the snow/ice blocks and a start made on cutting them out
-
More work done on the layout with plaster paris on the bits of plastic that made up the broken ice flows.
-
|More work done on the model
-
Transport for Father Christmas - will it be big enough to fit in ALL the presents for Brid & Wolds members ?????
-
Now he can go on the snow - at speed
-
Who needs reindeer's when you have wings ?????
-
Paint job done on the sleigh.
-
Nice job with the sledge.
-
Thank you Zak -- can do one with your initials on it - hohoho -- my dad could never understand why I thought it funny he put his initials on his suitcase, his first name was William !!!!!!!
