Rust! Who is that heathen? Let me guess, oh yes I remember.

Very neat work and forward planning leaves me in no doubt this is another Kev masterpiece in the making.

Frenetic build pace here Kev and wonderful detail. I'm particularly impressed with the pilots seat belts, they look very good.

The cockpit canopy is made up of five pieces and is proving to be quite a challenge and that's the polite description. Much filing, scraping, filling and sanding will be required to get a result.

The Dora Wings Percival Proctor is my next build after the delightful Hasegawa A6M3s. It is proving to be nearer the challenging end of the spectrum  the the Zeros mainly due the vagaries of the instructions colour schemes, both of which only share a passing resemblance to reality.

Anyway here's the fuselage buttoned up and drying off while I attempt the cockpit canopy assembly.

Admirable on build many fronts Andy. Perseverance, skill and not least size. Really looking forward to seeing it on a suitably strengthened table.

Another excellent ship that impresses greatly. One very very small eenie weenie point and I accept 1:350 in an incredibly small scale for aircraft models, but I think the propeller on the Walrus is a tad on the heavy side.

Now then Cap'in Haddock,

As always I'm  in awe of your skill and approach to the models you make. This one is yet another excellent example that impresses. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Thanks again for the compliments gents. Most of the credit should go to the kit. Hasegawa Zeros are absolute gems and I've done little other than spray a little paint on the assembled bits. OK, I've been careful doing it but take nothing away from the superb quality of the kit that is the basis of these models.

Declaring this one done and so that wraps up Mitsubishi's IJN type 0 models for me.

Another hiatus, largely due to inertia around sorting stencils for the aircraft formation number.

Fantastic Howard. Superb painting to bring out the modelling of the figures.

After a long hiatus a little progress. Major components together and camouflage applied.

Fine work Bill in the very impressive cockpit. The latest Revell kits are definitely much improved and build into fine replicas in the hands of skilled modellers.
