Inpact Kits 1:48 Martin Handasyde 1910
This does look similar to an Antoinette, it is certainly of that type. It is a smaller and stronger aircraft with many interesting features.
The undercarriage had telescopic legs to each half axle, the weight was supported on a leaf spring below the axle.
A J.A.P (J.A. Prestwich) engine was used, so a radiator was not required and the oil was kept away from the pilot by a plate attached to the control column.
Direction was effected by wing warping. Martin Handasyde Monoplanes were made at Brooklands and were available in single and double seat versions, the 2-seater had a gnome engine fitted.
