Title: Col. Tony Wilson

Hi All,
It is my sad duty to inform you that one of our most respected members Col. Tony Wilson has passed away after a long illness.

Tony passed away peacefully at home early this evening Friday 21st July 2023.

Tony will always be remembered for his undeniable modelling skill, and his outstanding knowledge of everything Military. He was a good friend to all who knew him, and did not suffer fools gladly. He had a wicked sense of humour, sometimes rather dry but with a twinkle in eye.

Another sad day for the club and its members.

Details of his funeral will be made available as they become known.

Sorry to be the bearer of such sad news.

Very sad news indeed.
Thank you Kevin for informing us all of this sad event.
I for one will miss his humour and manner greatly.

Very sad. I ddn't know him for long but he was a great character.

A very sad time. I'm going to miss our long chats on all things military. He always treated me as an equal, even though I was a lowly private.
He can rest now, no more pain.

The passing of a true gentleman, I will miss getting my usual bollocking from him and us both smiling afterwards - a very sad day for the club
