For by those of who who've not seen the Yorkshire Post recently.
No need to worry where you're going to put it Zak the Blackburn Beverley has been bought jointly by businessman Martyn Wiseman and Swiss banker Georg Von der Muehill and will be kept at Martyn's airfield at Birchwood Lodge near Selby. Having a love for radial engine aircraft Martyn outbid a company from London who were going to scrap it. His plan is to turn it into an AirBnB (pun intended?) with a jacuzzi in the nose, re-upholstered swivel chairs in the cockpit, kitchen and dining room in the cargo bay and 2 bedrooms in the tail. That's going to be some walk to bed after a few G&Ts!! There's no mention of where the toilets will be I just hope he's not going to use the para-drop exit!!
By turning it into a commercial concern the plan is that the aircraft will be self-funding for upkeep and repairs. It will take about 6 months to dismantle and move to it's new site via low-loader but there is a possibility that some of it may be moved by Chinook,
