Next project - a street in Saigon during the Vietnam War.
The model is a Master Box No MB35185. I have made a list of 3 alliteration names for the shops behind the figures, all from the club committee members names.

Hi Msea,
Only an observation, but I could not help you started with the 'Female' figures first. Has young William been influencing you.....?
Cheers,
Bigkev

No input from Bill - as you can see they still have clothes on, so that proves it.
-
Rough plan for the street in paper - now will start to make these in solid materials.
-
A start made on the front of the street -- this will be for "Daves Dope Den" and Kevins Krap Kookhouse"

-
Some colour on Kevin and Zaks building, also red windows for Kevin.

Hi Msea,
Thanks for the 'Red' colouring, it's my favourite colour, but no 'Red Lights'? I think my section may be a little undressed.....

-
Roof added to the 2 buildings

A start made on the wheels for "Tony's Terrific Taxis".

Neil and Dave now have signs outside the buildings. Kevin has to wait because his is double sided 90degree sign like a pub sign.
-
Coming along nicely.
-
Thank you kind sir.

Both wheels now finished and primed, next job to clean them up and then on with the body and hood. Also finishing sign for Kevin.
-
Start made on Tony's body - make off that what you want !!!!
-
Tony now has a seat and handles on his taxi -- and to make it a little more comfortable also a green seat cushion.
-
Looks like a pan cleaner!
-
I was thinking more like a "pooper scooper" - but don't tell Tony or I will be in trouble AGAIN.
-
Suspension made from 2 sections of brass shim and soldered together. Second photo shows the 2 suspension's soldered to the axle.
-
All put together, just the axles to be cut short when solid.
-

Not a foible but some animals to go on the street - base colour added.
NO Zak you can't make a "bacon and egg" sandwich from them !!!!!
-
Sorry, that looks like the wrong sort of pig for Vietnam or thereabouts!
I may already have explained this to you, if not ask me on Wednesday.
-
Its on it's holidays.
-
Chicken and pig now has more colour.
From a person who walked around in Venezuela when he was 18 and saw pigs walking about in the street - I agree its a bit long and thin for a pig of this area, but heyho its only for fun.
-
Not "pigs in space" but pigs and chickens in Saigon. - that's for all the Muppet fans
-
Some more work done on the figures
