Found this at the back of a cupboard and it will be the next model -
DON'T TELL HADDOCK.
If you notice I have just posted 2 more photos of the destroyers I am rusting up, to keep Haddock happy.
Not that I am a total coward -- but when I was teaching, one of the pupils asked if I had been in the army. I told her no but if I had been, I would have been in the
"RASC"
-- that would be the
"run away someones coming"
regiment.
Now back to the model, it is a Poste Militaire 90mm figure of a French Hussar. Have sorted out the colours for the model but will let
"she who must be obeyed"
decide on which regiment he will be in.

"She who must be obeyed"
has now decided on the colours. Trumpeter of the 5th Hussars in reverse colour to the main hussars. Info from the Osprey book Napoleon's Hussars - men at arms series number 76
So it will be red breeches and pelisse
( the jacket slung over the right shoulder)
with pale blue dolman
( the jacket that is worn on the body)

Dear Count Msea,
After hearing where you going on your hollie's, soon, I'm going to be wearing a garlic necklace, just in case you decide you want to make me a pain in the neck!
Never mind Ooooh La, La, should I be thinking Ooooh Heck!

After a lot of searching eventually found the base plate for the model.
A coat of primer and then some brown colour for the soil, when dry will dry-brush some green for the grass, paint the small rocks and a coat of black for the edge.

You always say my models are
sh**
when I say they are
ship
models - now we are getting down low and dirty -- hohoho Just to change the colour, a bit of fast growing grass to cover the soil/poo.
Trying to get some modelling done before Kevin sends me the latest set of information about the show and I will then have to change the plans again. We love you Kevin , but are you trying to make as many changes to the show plan as Neil did
hohohoho
