Hi Msea,
Are you still eating the last of this year's magic mushroom's?
Should I wear my body armour on Wednesday night, or better still my running shoe's.
In trepidation……..

Hi Msea,

Nice to see you're on the Ball.

Is there some significance of the locked gates photo?

Oh no, I remember now, I've been getting stick all morning...….. and I only live local!

It is a pity that Brooke Bond still don't do 'PG Tips adverts' I can see a whole campaign in your pictures alone....

Thankyou to ALL who attended yesterday and Today to prepare for the show, without you it WOULDN'T HAPPEN!!

Big day tomorrow, bring your wallets, the Traders will appreciate it, and Tony in the YAA Charity Sale wouldn't mind a bit of your cash too!

Cheers,
Bigkev

FAQ / Re: East Riding of Yorkshire Model Show 2018
« on: September 01, 2018, 01:35:17 PM »
Hi All,

Just to let you know that the Hall has been set up and is more or less ready for Club's/Sig's and Traders to set up.

You can set up from 07.30am

Traders:- Please collect your wristbands before from the Reception/Entry Point before setting up, and you will be shown the location of your stand within the hall.

Club's/SIG's , all the wristbands both allocated and discounted ones have been sent out with the exception of two clubs who have arranged to collect and pay on day. (IPMS Langley Moor, and Nomads Modelling Group.)

Please can all Club/SIG's leaders and Organiser's ensure that their members have a wristband on to enter the show including set up.
If not, they will be asked to purchase a wristband at full price, and then obtain a full refund on production of an unused wristband which has been sent out/requested.

This has been clearly communicated to all leaders/organiser's of Club's/SIG's attending, so please ensure all are aware of our policy.

We look forward to welcoming you to 'Our Show'.

So far the 'Sun Dance' seems to be working, we are looking at a nice warm sunny day, with light winds.

The Bacon Butty van will be open from 08.00am, for those hungry modellers who have travelled both near and far.

Look forward to seeing you all there. I will be on site from 06.15am if you need to contact me. Though you will not be allowed into the hall until 07.30am to set up.

If you look for me, I'm the one with the very grey hair now....!

Cheers,
Kevin

(I am very grateful to ALL the Club members who have attended today to prepare the hall and outside exhibits in readiness for the show, without them there would be no show.

FAQ / Re: East Riding of Yorkshire Model Show 2018
« on: August 28, 2018, 05:11:25 PM »
Hi All,

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstance's, the Scarborough Model Flying Club, will not be able to attend this year's show.
They apologise unreservedly, but circumstance's dictate their non -appearance this year.

A pity for us, as the weather conditions predicted are more than favourable for flying models.

We hope to see them display next year.

Cheers,
Bigkev

Are these modelled on 'Hussien Bolt' by any chance, looking at the pose?
